Overview
Variable tank washing for medium and larger vessels
The D3000 and D4000 are members of Dasic’s Jetstream family of tank washing machines. Both provide reliable, automated cleaning with wash programmes tailored to the application, and both are lubricated by the wash media itself, so there’s no risk of cargo or product contamination from gearbox lubricants.
The D3000 is the smaller, more versatile option, suitable for vessels up to 30,000 DWT, with a built-in full-tank quick-rinse facility. The D4000 was developed for the increasing size of chemical and product carrier tonnage and suits vessels up to 50,000 DWT. Both can be configured for water, oil, mud or other process media, including crude oil washing and mud tank cleaning.

Jet length is the same for the D3000 360° and 180° down-wash configurations. Restricting the machine to a 180° down wash reduces total flow.

Wash patterns
Coverage configured to the application
Both machines can be set for full 360° cleaning or a restricted wash sector, so the jets are concentrated on the parts of the vessel that actually need cleaning.
Restricted patterns such as a 180° down wash are ideal for open tanks, partial cleaning zones and anywhere upward spraying isn’t wanted. Other angles can be configured to suit the vessel geometry.
Installation
Fixed or portable installation
The D3000 and D4000 can both be supplied as fixed or portable machines. Fixed installations can be supplied with a downpipe, deck adaptor and valve, while portable arrangements can include layflat hose and a hose saddle. For fixed D3000 installations a stub pipe is required, available as an optional extra.

Can these machines use oil or mud as the cleaning medium?
Yes. Both can be configured for water, oil, mud or other process media. A sealed gearbox is recommended where stones, grit or debris could reach the gearing.
