Overview

Flexible orbital cleaning in two configurations

The classic Orbitor is a self-lubricated, self-cleaning orbital tank washing machine. An efficient turbine drives the head through a 360° spherical pattern, delivering high-pressure impact jets to every internal surface. It excels at cleaning horizontal corrugations and difficult structures and can be used with very hot water, making it ideal for food, brewing and other hygienic applications.

The Double Nozzle suits medium and larger tanks where strong impact cleaning is needed. The 4 Nozzle gives a denser wash pattern for more intensive coverage of the vessel surface. Both are configured to your operating pressure, flow rate and cleaning cycle, and thanks to a low starting torque they work well even at low supply pressures.

Performance data

Jet length and flow rate

Jet length is common to both configurations. The Double Nozzle needs less total flow, while the 4 Nozzle delivers a denser wash pattern with a correspondingly higher flow.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can’t find your answer? Our engineers are happy to help.

Double Nozzle or 4 Nozzle?

Choose the Double Nozzle for medium and larger tanks where strong impact cleaning matters and flow is limited. Choose the 4 Nozzle where you need a denser pattern and more intensive coverage, and have the flow to support it.

Which surface finish do I need?

The standard finish suits general industrial use. The highly polished hygienic finish is designed for food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical and other sanitary applications.

Can the Orbitor be used in hazardous areas?

The Orbitor range can be supplied with ATEX certification on request for use in hazardous areas. In ATEX configuration the maximum operating temperature is 60°C, and volatile or flammable solvents must not be used as the cleaning fluid.

Tell us your zone classification and cleaning fluid and we’ll confirm the right configuration.

Why is each machine configured to order?

Matching the nozzle size, cycle time, operating pressure and flow rate to your tank means you get an effective clean without using more water than you need.
