Orbitor rotary jet range
Orbitor Hi-Cap
High-capacity orbital tank cleaning for larger vessels that need greater flow and extended cleaning reach.
- Tanks approx. 26–42 m Ø
- Jet length 13–21 m
- 10 or 12.5 mm nozzles
- 316L stainless steel

Overview
High-capacity cleaning for larger tanks and tougher residues
The Orbitor Hi-Cap is designed to deliver the most powerful cleaning in the Orbitor range for larger tank sizes. With jet lengths of around 13 m to 21 m, depending on nozzle size and operating pressure, it can tackle tanks of approximately 26 m to 42 m diameter.
It makes light work of the toughest residues, including highly viscous materials, and can be combined with hot water cleaning to shift even hardened substances. For larger or more complex vessels, a shadow study can be carried out to position multiple machines for complete coverage.

Wash pattern
Full 360° coverage at long range
The Hi-Cap rotates through a full 360° spherical pattern. Where internal structures could block the jets, we can model the vessel and recommend positions for one or more machines.
Installation
Fixed or portable installation
The Orbitor Hi-Cap can be supplied for fixed or portable installation. Fixed installations can be supplied with a downpipe, mounting flange and valve, while portable arrangements can include layflat hose and a hose saddle.
Typical applications
- Marine
- Food & Beverage
- Chemical
- Pharmaceutical
- Petrochemical
- Water & Utilities
- General large tank cleaning

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your answer? Our engineers are happy to help.
Will one machine be enough for my tank?
For tanks up to around 42 m diameter a single Hi-Cap is often enough, but internal structures can create shadow areas. We can review your drawings and advise whether more than one machine is needed.
Can the Orbitor be used in hazardous areas?
The Orbitor range can be supplied with ATEX certification on request for use in hazardous areas. In ATEX configuration the maximum operating temperature is 60°C, and volatile or flammable solvents must not be used as the cleaning fluid.
Tell us your zone classification and cleaning fluid and we’ll confirm the right configuration.
Why is each machine configured to order?
Matching the nozzle size, cycle time, operating pressure and flow rate to your tank means you get an effective clean without using more water than you need.
