Tank cleaning for the brewing industry
Cleaning challenges through the brewing process, from brew house to bright beer.
Dasic offers a range of cleaning technologies for the brewing industry. Each unit is selected to give the best possible clean for the application while minimising costly waste effluent, which affects both the cost and profitability of brewing and the environment.
There are many different CIP demands in the brewing process, and choosing the right system for each application has a significant impact on cleaning efficiency.
Brew house
Some of the hardest applications to clean. The main issues are the size of the tanks, high operating temperatures and the high percentage of sediment left in the tanks.
Fermentation vessels
These vary in shape and size and need a high level of cleaning to remove the yeast and other sediment that builds up in the bottom of the tanks.
Yeast tanks
Efficient cleaning can be hindered by an installed agitator. Positioning of the cleaning points is critical and multiple cleaning points are generally used.
Conditioning
Most conditioning tanks are horizontal and need good bottoms removal.
Finished or bright beer
Much less arduous to clean, as the product is sediment-free and at the final stage of the process.
