FPSOs and FSUs

Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels and Floating Storage Units are either modified VLCCs or purpose-built ship-shaped vessels for oil production. They face the same tank cleaning and gas freeing issues as a crude tanker.

Supply vessels

Supply vessels deliver and remove equipment and waste for the production facility. Some have drilling mud tanks built in. Drilling mud lubricates the drilling system during exploration and field development.

  • Tank cleaning: Model A MK II for crude oil washing
  • Junior Bronze: a portable machine for smaller tanks
